Product Introduction

OLM Vertical Grinding Mill is a comprehensive large-scale powder-making equipment integrating crushing, grinding, powder selection, drying, and material conveying in five major functions. It features concentrated process flow, small footprint, low investment, high efficiency, energy saving, and environmental protection.

Equipment requirements: Feed size: 0-50mm (non-metallic minerals), Production capacity: 10-170 tons/hour, Applicable materials: Limestone, calcite, dolomite, petroleum coke, gypsum, barite, marble, talc, coal powder and other ore processing.

Working Principle

The main motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through a reducer. Meanwhile, hot air enters the vertical mill body from the air inlet. Material falls onto the center of the grinding disc through the feed inlet and moves evenly from the center to the edge under centrifugal force. When passing through the grinding roller track area on the grinding disc, large pieces of material are directly crushed by the grinding roller's pressure, and fine particles undergo inter-particle grinding through compression. The crushed material continues to move toward the edge of the grinding disc until it is carried away by the strong airflow at the air ring. Larger particles fall back onto the grinding disc for continued crushing. When the material in the airflow passes through the upper separator, coarse particles are returned to the grinding disc for grinding under the action of rotating blades. Fine powder that passes qualification exits the mill with the airflow and is collected and discharged by the system's powder collector as finished product. Iron lumps and other foreign objects mixed in the material move to the edge of the grinding disc and, due to their own weight, fall into the lower chamber of the mill, where they are scraped by a scraper plate installed at the bottom of the grinding disc and discharged through the slag discharge outlet (commonly called "spitting slag").

At the same time, the grinding roller and disc do not directly contact, resulting in low iron content in the product, effectively ensuring the whiteness and purity of the material.
  4. No environmental pollution, automated control: The equipment operates stably with minimal vibration and low noise. The vertical mill is fully sealed and works under negative pressure with no dust overflow and clean environment. Equipped with an automatic control system, it enables free switching between remote and local control, simple operation and labor savings.
