Working Principle
Vertical shaft impact crusher (sand making machine) has two feeding modes: Full center feeding: Material falls into the feed hopper, enters the high-speed rotating rotor through the center feed hole, is fully accelerated and thrown out through the launch port. First, it collides with a portion of material that has bounced back and free-falls, then together they impact the vortex-shaped lining (or) in the vortex cavity. First, it bounces to the top of the crushing cavity, then deflects downward and collides with material launched from the impeller passage, forming a continuous material curtain. Finally, it is discharged through the lower discharge opening. Center feeding with circumferential cascade feeding: Material falls into the feed hopper, then passes through an annular hole and is divided into two streams by the distribution plate. One stream enters the high-speed rotating impeller through the distribution plate, while the other falls around the distribution plate. Material in the impeller is rapidly accelerated and thrown out at high speed. First, it collides and crushes with the other free-falling material from around the distribution plate, then together they impact the vortex-shaped lining (or) in the vortex cavity. First, it bounces to the top of the crushing cavity, then deflects downward and collides with material launched from the impeller passage, forming a continuous material curtain. Finally, it is discharged through the lower discharge opening.
